Refused are Fucking Dead: Again

Photobucket
So all the ho-ha over the last couple of weeks regarding the “Coming Soon” sign on the Refused website (which sparked a zillion reformation rumours in Websville) was actually a build up to the announcement that the bands seminal album ‘The Shape of Punk To Come’ is getting the reissue treatment by Epitaph.
This time, as well as getting THE greatest modern punk album, you’ll also get a copy of the stellar documentary ‘Refused Are Fucking Dead’ and a previously unreleased live album, recoded in Sweden in ’98.
This is a bit of a nothing package really. It’s not as if both the album and the DVD are unavailable, you can pick them up at most decent record shops as well as online. Epitaph are bundling them both together in an attempt to make the new live album a more sellable prospect, as well as boosting interest in the Refused back-cat. Fair enough really, but exactly the exciting news that we were waiting on.
Here’s the tracklisting of the Live album, which we’re stoked to see features the awesome ‘Coup D’Etat’, and also a promo video that they’ve put together to flog the reissue package. The vid has all the relevant details and some nice words from people like Duff Rose McKagan.
